Hello and Welcome!
Welcome to our new prayer partners and financial supporters!
We are so glad to have you with us!
Above the Water is a Worship Ministry called to help draw out a higher level of intimate worship from God's people. We are called to help other believers to better understand the depth and greatness of God's love for us and out of that understanding comes a deeper level of worship. The Lord is reaching out to all who will hear and we are excited and humbled to be a part of this mission.
We need you!! We are in need of prayer partners and financial supporters. I am confident that God is stirring in the hearts of His people to come along side us. Please sign up to be a prayer partner by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the Lord is leading you to give financially, we also welcome your support. We have recently added the electronic giving option you see on the right. You can make a donation securely through Paypal.

Over the last decade, I have been compared to Moses a lot. Some of those observations were my own but many times it was close friends who saw the correlation between where I was and where Moses found himself. Yes, I've been in the desert. I've walked, I've listened to the complaints of others and become frustrated, I've prayed for manna from heaven, I've prayed for water to quench my thirst, I've prayed for mighty and miraculous things to take place all while wandering in the desert. I have known what it is to have little and still survive.
God called me to something big and I accepted the challenge but still said, Lord I am not an eloquent speaker. So I wandered some more and learned tough lessons. He again called me to something big and again I said I would accept the challenge but replied, Lord I am not an eloquent speaker. About two years ago I was able to do a concert at a local church and during that service I felt the anointing that had been on my singing voice shift to my speaking voice. As I was speaking, I felt that shift. It was a little scary and at the same time exciting. Since that time, God has shown me more and more how He will use me in ministry.
He is growing in me the gifts of teaching, words of knowledge, and prophecy. While I am still most comfortable with singing, I see Him strengthening these other gifts and I'm excited to see how He will use them in a service.
I am walking at the edge of the desert right now. I can see the Promised Land - the place where He called me to many years ago - and I am excited to live there. I am excited to have my children see and experience the power of the Holy Spirit in a worship service, I am thrilled to be able to share the Word and the message of Love and Hope that God has instilled in me, but I am especially looking forward to leading worship in a room filled with people who are seeing, feeling, and hearing the Love of God in a brand new way.
While I am still in the desert, I must hold on to the visions of that Promised Land.
